Marachekku Oil Machine for Home
A marachekku oil machine for home means the 10 kg an hour model. Its 2 HP single phase version runs on the same 230 V supply as a household water pump, stands 3 by 1.5 feet and presses 10 kg of groundnut or sesame in about an hour. If your unit has three phase power, the 2 HP three phase version gives the same output for a little more money. Wood Pressed Oil Machine Working
A wood pressed oil machine turns the old bullock driven chekku into an electric one. Feed goes into a wooden mortar, the ural and a Vagai wood pestle, the ulakai, rotates slowly against it. That slow crushing keeps the seed cool, so the oil holds its flavour, colour and nutrients and nothing is added. The oil drains into a stainless steel tray, while the cake stays in the mortar until you lift it out. Operation is fully automatic. A Siemens motor at 960 rpm drives the pestle through a reduction and imported bearings keep the noise and vibration very low.

A 5 HP three phase motor drives a larger frame of 5 by 2.5 by 7 feet and a hardened EN8 axle of 100 mm diameter carries the whole load. The wooden chamber is retained, so the oil keeps its natural taste and nutrients under heavy, continuous daily loads.
