How to choose a cleaning and decortication machine
Destoner before every press
A stone the size of a grain of rice scores a wooden pestle or a rotary mortar. The destoner clears 400 to 500 kg of seed an hour and pays for itself in the first pestle it saves.
Decorticator for groundnut only
The decorticator shells 400 kg of pods an hour and blows the husk off. Mills buying kernel do not need it; farms and traders buying pods do.
Farm gate or mill
Both machines come in single phase on 230 V for a farm and in three phase for a mill. The single phase 2 HP decorticator runs off the same supply as a pump set.
