A dal making machine does its work in three stages inside one frame. Pulses pass between an emery roller and a screen that rub the husk off without crushing the grain. A fan then lifts the loose husk and dust out of the stream and blows it to a separate outlet, which can be kept for cattle feed. The de-husked pulse is split into halves and passes a grading screen, so whole dal, splits and brokens come out separately. The roller pressure and screen are set for each pulse and the works sets them on your own pulses at installation.
